Overview

The Funding Account is the central custody and accounting layer of the Polyester Exchange and the safe-zone for assets not actively deployed in trading or lending.

Assets of the Funding Account

The Funding Account is where zAssets are held and released during deposits and withdrawals, and where uAssets are minted and burned to represent unified balances inside the exchange.

It is the on-chain boundary that ensures all balances remain backed and redeemable at all times.

See the Asset Lifecycle and Inventory and Supply pages for more detail.

Viewing The Funding Account

Users can view Funding Account balances and transaction history by hovering ‘Assets’ in the header, or visiting the Funding tab in the dashboard.

From here, users can:

  • Deposit Funds
  • Withdraw Funds
  • Transfer Funds
