Trading Fees

Trading fees are charged when spot trades execute on the Polyester Exchange. Fees apply only to filled trades. Placing, updating, or canceling orders does not incur any fees.

How Trading Fees Work

Trading fees are generated when liquidity is matched in the order book.

  • If an order added liquidity by resting on the book, it is a maker trade.
  • If an order removed liquidity by executing immediately, it is a taker trade.

Fees are assessed per fill and calculated automatically at execution.

Trading Fee Rates

Trading fees vary by VIP tier and execution type.

VIP Tier Maker Fee Taker Fee
1 0.08% 0.10%
2 0.06% 0.08%
3 0.04% 0.06%
4 0.02% 0.04%
5 0.00% 0.02%

A negative maker fee represents a maker rebate.

See Maker Rebates.

Where Trading Fees Go

All trading fees collected by Polyester are routed to the Polyester Treasury.

Treasury Address: 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Treasury balances and fee flows are publicly visible on Polyester Scan.
